Biography

Bobby came to prominence when he won a cap for Wales RU against England on the 20th January 1968 He scored a blood curdling try that day. Soon after he accepted 4500 pounds to come north.

Bobby played in the second row and occasionally at prop forward for the Saints between February 1968 and August 1971. Often he would emerge from the substitutes bench as an impact player and was deadly near the opponents line. His try tally of 18 tries from 79 matches was impressive and this haul included a brace against Warrington in September 1968.

He transferred to Warrington in 1971 and later gained 8 caps fro Wales RL featuring in the 1975 World Cup whwre he played against England, Australia and New Zealand.
