 HERITAGE NO : 1032 Tommy was a livewire hooker who played 15 matches for the Saints. He made his debut in November 1991 after playing for the Saints in four friendly matches. This local lad from Haydock scored three tries for the team including a brace against Featherstone Rovers. Tommy made a remarkable return to the fold in August 2006 when coach Daniel Anderson selected a young team to take on the Catalans Dragons, preferring to rest his senior players in preparation for the 2006 Challenge Cup Final. This young Saints team, guided by the experience of Hodgkinson, nearly managed to pull off an unexpected victory in the South of France at Canet Plage. Dave Dooley |
