 HERITAGE NO : 661 This local lad from Holy Cross played three matches for the Saints between September 1947 and October 1948. The right winger finished the first two games against Salford and Workington Town on the winning side. However his final match for the club against Keighley ended in defeat. In 1939 he was living in Gleave Street, St Helens and still at school. He died in St Helens in June 1978 at the age of 50. Dave Dooley |
