 HERITAGE NO : 996 This local hooker came up through the ranks at Knowsley Road. He was a tenacious character with a sharp eye for any opening in defences. Mark only played seven matches for the Saints and he was transferred to Salford. Here he had a glittering career for the Reds. His only point for the Saints came in the away fixture at Warrington where a drop goal from Mark helped the Saints overcome the Wires by 25 points to 14. the one pointer was to become the signature of Mark at the Willows.
