 HERITAGE NO : 462 Ron was a versatile player who played for the Saints before and after World War Two. He could play centre, wing or loose forward. Ron eventually moved to Liverpool to continue his career. In 1939 Ron was employed as a Mixer in a Bottle Furnace and lived in Thames Road, St Helens. He died in June 1980, aged 62 and his death was registered in Knowsley. Dave Dooley |
