 HERITAGE NO : 9 Sarah came to the club with plenty of rugby experience. She had played for Leyland Warriors, Chorley Panthers, Stanningley and Preston Grasshoppers as well as for North West Colleges Rugby Union. Sarah had also appeared for England Students and Great Britain Teachers and played in the Lancashire Women’s Rugby League in the summer and winter leagues. Before joining the Saints Sarah had also played for Lancashire women’s rugby union for four seasons. She was almost an everpresent member of the team in her first two seasons. A regular starter in the prop position she scored 3 tries in 28 matches. Strong running and tough tackling were outstanding features of her play. Dave Dooley | ||||
