 HERITAGE NO : 54 Originally, local girl Lucie was reared through the fabulous Thatto Heath Club programme. In 2023 she was signed from the Wigan Warriors and soon established herself as a dependable squad member. Sams had previously played for our u19 side before joining the Cherry & Whites a few years before. Lucie was born in Rainhill, and her former clubs included Thatto Heath Crusaders, Blackbrook and Haydock. Some great performances in the mid-season resulted in Lucie being selected as a member of the Challenge Cup team who lifted the trophy at Wembley in August 2023. Dave Dooley |
