Biography of John Bocock



HERITAGE NO : 150
John Bocock was a lively half back or centre who played eight matches for the Saints from September to November 1906. He continued his rugby life with Leigh Shamrocks. John was a miner and he later settled in Wakefield, Yorkshire where his brother William had already relocated. In 1939 he was resident at 7 Club Terrace, Fitzwilliam, Walefield. John died in Wakefield in June 1962 aged 78.
