 HERITAGE NO : 145 This former Warrington and Leigh forward donned the number eight jersey in his only appearance for the Saints first team. The game was an away league match at Morecambe in which the Saints won by 10 points to 3. He had played 70 matches for Warrington. In 1921 Arthur was living in Elm Grove, Ashton upon Mersey, Lancashire. He lived with his wife Florence and daughter Margaret. He worked as an Electrical Motor Winder with Metropolitan Vickers in Trafford Park.His death is registered in Barton in December 1956 at the age of 75.
