 HERITAGE NO : 782 David Evans was a signing from Swansea Rugby Union and was a Welsh schoolboy international star. He made his only appearance for the Saints in the home league Easter fixture against Swinton. Unfortunately David was on the losing side that day as the Saints went down by 10 points to 3. Evans played centre to the legendary Mick Sullivan. David continued his career with Rochdale Hornets, before joining Salford, where he played in the full back position. |
