 HERITAGE NO : 336 Henry Fairhurst played for the first team in two spells. He was a prop forward who could readily operate in the hooking role when required. This local lad from Cumber Lane played during the late twenties and early thirties when St Helens was a hot bed of the great game. In 1939 he was living in St Luke's Avenue, Golborne and sadly unemployed at the time. He died in June 1980, aged 75.
