Biography of Andy Haigh



HERITAGE NO : 1046
This young gifted centre was part of the Saints threequarters line in the exciting early super league era. Andy was a very good distributor and had a keen eye for an opening. He gained a winners medal in the 1997 Challenge Cup Final and collected a medal as part of the squad which carried off the Super League title in 1996. Unfortunately, his career ended prematurely in 1998 after Andy suffered a serious knee injury. His 27 tries from 84 appearances was a very creditable strike rate.
