Biography of Harry Hodge



HERITAGE NO : 514
Harry Hodge played 16 matches for the Saints during World War Two. He scored his only try for the club on his debut against York in September 1941. Hodge operated at stand off that day but mostly played full back for the Saints. Harry lived in Peacock Avenue, Wakefield and worked as a Mine Rope Worker. He died in Bishop Stortford, Hertfordshire in April 1997 aged 83.
