Biography of John Knighton



HERITAGE NO : 930
This long striding teacher signed for the Saints from Salford in 1978. He made a cracking start to his Saints career, scoring four tries in his first three matches. This haul included a brace against Rochdale Hornets. John loved to support in the centre channels. In total John played 35 matches for the Saints.
