Biography of Gus O Donnell



HERITAGE NO : 1035
Gus O Donnell was a very versatile and able player who played 49 matches for the Saints between August 1992 and January 1994. He was an excellent reader of the game and a drop goal specialist with twenty one pointers for the club. Gus played in the 1993 Premiership Final when the Saints recorded a famous 10 points to 4 victory over the men from Wigan. He was equally at home at scrum half or hooker. Later Gus went on loan to Workington Town.
